Knowing God not only brings personal satisfaction, but significance to our lives. We live for God and for others, which brings lasting pleasure back to us. The better we know Him, the better we know ourselves, and the better we can serve Him and others. Jesus summed up this paradox: "It is more blessed to give than to receive!" And the more we know God, the more we receive, and the more we have to give!
